The Texas Southern Gospel School of Music, Inc. (TSGSM) offers the highest caliber of instruction in the field of gospel music. Each student is placed in classes according to his or her age and music experience. The study of gospel music instills confidence, creativity, competence, and love for God. Students will find their attendance at TSGSM a rewarding experience. Day classes will begin with a devotional at 8:15 a.m. and night classes will begin at 6:00 p.m. Students are expected to attend all classes except when attending private lessons. The Texas Southern Gospel School of Music is a Christian organization, and those participating in its activities are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. |

Group Singing Assemblies will be held during the morning and evening sessions for group singing. Special Interest Seminars Special interest seminars may be held throughout the school according to the interests expressed by students.
Closing Program The date, location, and time for the closing program will be announced when information is available. The public is invited to attend the concert, and admission is free. Tuition and Fees
Registration $25.00 This non-refundable fee ($25.00) is paid by all who enroll as students in the TSGSM, including Tuition $200.00 Full Time Students - Two weeks of day and night classes
Those who wish to attend the TSGSM but have limited funds, should work with their church or some other organization to obtain a sponsor. However, students may also print a copy of the scholarship application, complete it, secure the two reference letters and mail the application to Pauline Thompson; 305 Trailwood Drive; Crockett, TX 75835. Students may also request a scholarship application from Pauline Thompson by emailing their request to d.p.thompson1968@gmail.com or by writing to 305 Trailwood Drive; Crockett, TX 75835. With your scholarship application, please submit the $25.00 non-refundable registration fee which must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2023. Scholarship applications postmarked after the deadline or without the $25.00 Registration fee and two reference letters will be incomplete and will not be considered for scholarship funds. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 1, 2022. Room and Board $350.00 Room and Board - Two (2) Weeks This fee covers lodging and meals for the ten days (Sunday and Friday evening meals are not included). Lodging is available the weekend between the two weeks of the school and on closing night at an additional cost of $15.00 per day per person. The cafeteria is closed from Friday after lunch until Monday morning. Students and/or faculty staying over the weekend in the dorms are responsible for their own meals. Dorm facilities consist of suites with two bedrooms, each with two single beds and a full bathroom. There will be a dorm parent assigned to each group of students. Commuting Students Commuting students may purchase meals for $6.50.
